In order to create a contact list for marketing purposes, it may be easier to upload a list of your own contacts via CSV or Google CSV.
Step by Step
admin > email marketing tab > lists tab > drop down next to create > import
When looking to add additional leads to the system, select the Email Marketing tab followed by the lists tab on the right hand side. Once that is selected, there is a small drop down menu next to the create button. Once that has been selected, there will be a prompt to upload a CSV file. For east, there is also a sample CSV list that is able to be downloaded.

CSV stands for Comma Separated Value. These files are primarily Excel or Google Sheets documents.
