Status Groups [Next Gen] Follow
Summary
Custom status groups can be used to keep similar statuses together and provide the ease of associating multiple statuses for clients to search for their property.
Step by Step
To activate Status Groups:
admin > inline menu > settings > property search > sales tab > select use status groups
1. Starting on the admin page, open the inline menu and select settings
2. On the settings page, select property search on the left-hand side
3. Select the Sales Tab and scroll halfway down the page and check 'Use Status Groups' box
To Create Status Groups:
admin > inline menu > settings > statuses
1. Starting on the admin page, open the inline menu and select settings
2. On the left-hand side, select statuses
3. On the status page, ensure that the green "Activated" button is showing to confirm the previous step was completed properly.
4. Select the "New Status Group" button to create a new Status Group.
5. Status Groups will show for clients, but it is up to you to decide if they will still show up if a client is not logged in. These Status Groups are used to simplify all of the options that are available from the MLS that clients may not understand fully.
For example: Instead of just showing active, a group can be built to show active, active, pending short sale, auction, back on the market, extended, coming soon, or new. By titling this as "New," it will be less confusing than having to look through all the separate statuses.
Definitions/Context
Statuses are indicators of what stage property is in. This could be anywhere from active to auction or back on the market to sold.
