How to Create New Email Content [Website Builder] Follow
You will use Layouts (created by the Admin/Broker) in the platform as a foundation to create your email structure, but you'll need to use Email Content to add in the body of the email and personalize the message that will be sent out.
You can build new Email Content in 2 ways:
Using an existing Layout:
1. Go to Marketing > Email Content and click to "Create Email Content".
2. Select a Layout to edit. You can filter through your previously created layouts by searching for a name/keyword or sorting by category.
3. Click on the different components within the editor to modify and add email content to the layouts. Use the "Edit Info" tab to edit the name, subject line, and description of the email, as well as set the access permissions for your email content.
4. Click "Save" to save this email content.
Creating a blank content from scratch:
1. Go to Marketing > Email Content and click to "Create Email Content".
2. Choose "Create Blank Content" to be taken to the WYSIWYG editor. Add in custom CSS/HTML to create your email from scratch. Use Preview Design/Source to toggle between the email preview and the text editor view.
3. Click "Save" to save this email content.
** Note: While the WYSIWYG editor is not available within the campaign creation flow, you can create new email content from an existing layout when creating a campaign or email.
